The Surah of Al-‘Alaq

Whoever sees in his dream that he is reciting the Surah of Al-‘Alaq, or that he hears it from someone reciting it, shall be provided sustenance by Almighty Allah according to the ordinances of the Qur’an. At the same time, he shall become renowned as a person of eloquent speech.

To recite the Surah of Al-‘Alaq in a dream signifies becoming a person whose deeds and morals are good and who is humble. The Surah of Al-‘Alaq signifies good character, a good destiny, and becoming an excellent orator.

According to another narration: To see in a dream that one recites the Surah of Al-‘Alaq, or a portion thereof, denotes learning the Noble Qur’an and the science of Qur’anic exegesis, writing, and becoming humble.

It can be read as a sign of easing, receiving support, gaining morale, or a fruitful development.

Underestimating opportunities, succumbing to comfort, or being late may reduce the positive effect.
