Surah al-A‘raf
If a person sees in his dream that he is reciting Surah al-A‘raf, or a portion thereof, or that it is being recited over him, this indicates that he will receive a good education in the future, develop himself in religion, and attain a tranquil life.
According to another narration, reciting Surah al-A‘raf in a dream is a sign that people are pleased with you. It indicates that you will reach a state in which you confront your fears and overcome them.
What does it mean to recite Surah al-A‘raf in a dream? It is a sign that the person will not die before visiting Mount Sinai.
Whoever sees in his dream that he is reciting Surah al-A‘raf or that it is being recited over him: all his wishes will come to pass and his prayers will be accepted. The possessor of such a dream will become pious and possessed of faith, and will set out on a journey and return in a short time. Whoever sees this dream will be safe from the evil of Satan and remain far from the oppression of his enemies.
According to Ibn Kathir, this declares that the one who sees this dream will prevail over his enemy.
Ja‘far al-Sadiq, for his part, says: The possessor of this dream will always attain the good pleasure of Allah Most High. His prayer will be accepted. Nafi‘ and Kirmani are likewise of this opinion.
‘Abd al-Ghani al-Nabulsi, however, says that it is a sign that the possessor of the dream will become pious and possessed of faith, set out on a journey, and return in a short time.
