The Surah of Al ‘Imran
Nabulsi’s dream interpretations: To read this surah, or something from it, in a dream, or to see it being recited over oneself: Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him), Nafi‘, and Ibn Kathir said that such a person will have little share among his family, will have a child in his old age, and will undertake many journeys. Some said that such a person will be among the chosen of the people, purified from filth and disobedience, and will contend with those belonging to other religions. Others said that he will attain provision and blessing, and that his mind will be clear and his soul pure.
B To see in one’s dream that one is reciting the Surah of Al ‘Imran: This is interpreted as meaning that such a person is beloved among the people and one who avoids evils.
According to Kirmânî’s interpretation: This person will die and be buried adhering to the Religion of Islam. If he has no child, Allah will grant him a child.
According to Ja‘far al-Sadiq’s interpretation: Whoever sees such a dream will be upright in his religion and conduct, accepted and honored among society, and will attain forgiveness in this world and the Hereafter.
