Surah al-Ma’idah

According to Ibn Sirin; whoever sees in his dream that he is reciting Surah al-Ma’idah, or a part of this surah, or that someone else is reciting it, shall become honored and respected among the people.

According to Kirmani; much wealth, goodness, and blessing shall come to him.

Hazrat Ja‘far al-Sadiq, however, says that he shall become strong in his religion and all his wishes shall be fulfilled.

Nafi‘ and Ibn Kathir likewise say that he shall become a generous person who shares his sustenance with those he loves and is a friend of the people.

‘Abd al-Ghani al-Nabulsi also says: He shall become acceptable in the sight of Allah (the Exalted), as a righteous person whose supplication is accepted, whose fortune is open, and whose life is long.

According to another narration: To see in a dream that one is reciting Surah al-Ma’idah, or a part thereof, or that it is being recited over one, is an indication of doing good and loving to perform charitable works.

At times, reciting this surah in a dream is also an indication of possessing sound belief, worship, and humility before Allah.

It can be read as a sign of easing, receiving support, gaining morale, or a fruitful development.

Underestimating opportunities, succumbing to comfort, or being late may reduce the positive effect.

In the interpretation, the themes of spiritual signs, emotional life, success and reputation, financial matters, the emotional tone in the dream and how the symbol concludes in the dream should be evaluated together.
