Surah al-Muddaththir

According to Ja‘far al-Sadiq; whoever recites Surah al-Muddaththir in his dream, or hears it being recited, engages in good works and causes harm to no one. His speech is pleasant, he fasts much, and he is of good character and courageous. His livelihood will be difficult and his provision will be scant.

According to another narration: To see in a dream that one recites Surah al-Muddaththir or a portion thereof, or that it is recited over oneself, is an indication of fasting much, keeping secrets, being among the people of patience, enjoining good, and forbidding evil.

It can be read as a sign of easing, receiving support, gaining morale, or a fruitful development.

Underestimating opportunities, succumbing to comfort, or being late may reduce the positive effect.
