Surah al-Ra‘d
According to Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him), whoever sees in a dream that he is reciting Surah al-Ra‘d, or part of it, or that it is being recited by another, his appointed time of death has drawn near.
According to Ibn Sirin: If he is qualified, the one who sees this dream will become foremost in the acquisition of knowledge and in reciting the Qur’an. If he is not qualified, he will continue in worship and supplication.
The dreamer will possess abundant knowledge concerning worship and supplication.
Abd al-Ghani al-Nabulsi says: He will be safe from fear and will be guarded by Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He). He will remain steadfast in his word toward the Muslims.
Ja‘far al-Sadiq interprets it thus: The dreamer’s appointed time of death has drawn near; he will depart from this world with faith.
According to another narration: To see in a dream that one is reciting Surah al-Ra‘d signifies gaining abundant reward, being safe from the enemy, and being acceptable in the sight of Allah.
