Surah Ash-Shu‘ara

According to Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him), whoever recites Surah Ash-Shu‘ara in his dream, or sees and hears it being recited, earns his livelihood with difficulty. He obtains everything through toil and hardship. According to Ja‘far al-Sadiq’s interpretation, the person who sees this dream refrains from uttering evil words. The Almighty Lord (may He be glorified and exalted) always keeps him far from such afflictions. He is content with little but lawful earnings.

According to another narration: To see oneself reciting Surah Ash-Shu‘ara, or a portion thereof, in a dream is a sign of a long life, frequent seeking of forgiveness, increase in knowledge and deeds, and recovery from illness.

To see oneself reciting Surah Ash-Shu‘ara, or a portion thereof, in a dream is a sign of safeguarding oneself from evil and false speech.
