1- Surah al-Fatiha: To recite Surah al-Fatiha in a dream signifies attaining good works, the acceptance of supplications, and sometimes going on pilgrimage.

To see in a dream that one recites al-Fatiha, or a verse thereof, or that it is recited over oneself, signifies that Allah Almighty will close the gates of evil to that person and open the gates of goodness to him.

2- Surah al-Baqarah: To see in a dream that one recites Surah al-Baqarah or a verse thereof, or that it is recited over oneself, signifies knowledge, a long life, goodness in religion, and deliverance concerning one’s child.

To recite Surah al-Baqarah in a dream signifies a strong memory and keen intelligence.

3- Surah Al ‘Imran: To see in a dream that one recites Surah Al ‘Imran or a portion of this surah signifies that the person will not remain long among his family, or that he will travel frequently. Some interpreters have said: To see Surah Al ‘Imran in a dream signifies a distinguished, noble person, remote from evil and devoted to service.

4- Surah al-Nisa: To recite Surah al-Nisa or a portion thereof in a dream signifies that the dreamer will marry a woman with whom he will be unable to live harmoniously at the end of his life. If the dreamer is a student, it signifies that he will become proficient in his knowledge.

5- Surah al-Ma’idah: To see in a dream that one recites Surah al-Ma’idah or a portion thereof, or that it is recited over him, signifies doing good and loving to perform charitable deeds. Sometimes, to recite this surah in a dream signifies possessing sound belief, devotion, and humble reverence.

6- Surah al-An‘am: To recite Surah al-An‘am or a portion thereof in a dream, or to see it recited over oneself, signifies the safety of one’s children and household, and being provided with wholesome sustenance in this world and the Hereafter.

To see oneself reciting Surah al-An‘am in a dream signifies goodness and generosity, the mercy of Almighty Allah upon that person, and sustenance in this world and the Hereafter.

7- Surah al-A‘raf: To see oneself reciting Surah al-A‘raf in a dream, or to see it recited over oneself, signifies attaining knowledge and having a sound religion. Sometimes, to recite this surah in a dream signifies being safe from the stratagems of Satan and attaining the intercession of His Excellency Adam, peace be upon him, in the Hereafter.

8- Surah al-Anfal: To see in a dream that one recites Surah al-Anfal or a verse thereof, or that it is recited over oneself, signifies attaining victory, honor, and exaltation.

9- Surah al-Tawbah: To see in a dream that one recites Surah al-Tawbah or a verse thereof, or that it is recited over oneself, signifies loving the righteous, reforming one’s religion, and remaining distant from sedition.

10- Surah Yunus: To see in a dream that one recites Surah Yunus or a portion thereof, or that it is recited over oneself, signifies knowledge and sound belief, being safe from the deception of the deceitful, and breaking the sorcery of the magician.

11- Surah Hud: To see oneself reciting Surah Hud in a dream signifies beautiful and upright belief, having a good opinion of Allah, and being provided sustenance through crops and agriculture. His Excellency ‘Umar, may Allah be pleased with him, interpreted this dream by saying that the person who sees it will have many enemies.

12- Surah Yusuf: To see oneself reciting Surah Yusuf or a portion thereof in a dream signifies having many enemies among one’s relatives; it also signifies passing from poverty to wealth, from humiliation to honor, and from distress to relief.

13- Surah al-Ra‘d: To see oneself reciting Surah al-Ra‘d in a dream signifies earning abundant reward, being safe from the enemy, and being accepted in the sight of Allah.

14- Surah Ibrahim: To see oneself reciting Surah Ibrahim in a dream, or to see it recited over oneself, signifies earning abundant reward, being safe from the enemy, and being accepted in the sight of Allah.

15- Surah al-Hijr: To see oneself reciting Surah al-Hijr or a portion thereof in a dream signifies becoming a good person in the sight of Allah and in the eyes of the people.

To recite Surah al-Hijr in a dream signifies wholesome sustenance, abundant reward, and deliverance from sin.

16- Surah al-Nahl: To see oneself reciting Surah al-Nahl or a verse thereof in a dream signifies loving the scholars of religion and the righteous believers. Some interpreters have said that such a person will attain everlasting sustenance.

For a sick man to recite Surah al-Nahl in a dream or to see it recited over him signifies that he will recover from his illness.

17- Surah al-Isra: To see oneself reciting Surah al-Isra or a verse thereof in a dream signifies being accepted in the sight of Allah, being respected among the people, attaining high ranks, and prevailing over the enemy.

18- Surah al-Kahf: To see oneself reciting Surah al-Kahf in a dream signifies a long life, a good condition, and abundant sustenance.

19- Surah Maryam: To see oneself reciting Surah Maryam or a portion thereof in a dream signifies deliverance from sorrow and grief, loving the righteous, and attaining strength and wealth.

20- Surah Ta-Ha: To see oneself reciting Surah Ta-Ha in a dream signifies goodness. To see oneself reciting Surah Ta-Ha or a portion thereof in a dream signifies abundant reward, prevailing over the enemy, and ease in the reckoning.

21- Surah al-Anbiya: To see oneself reciting Surah al-Anbiya or a portion thereof in a dream signifies a great share and precious sustenance; it also signifies that the dreamer will be nourished by the knowledge and supplications of the prophets.

22- Surah al-Hajj: To see oneself reciting Surah al-Hajj or a verse thereof in a dream signifies going on pilgrimage repeatedly.

23- Surah al-Mu’min: To see oneself reciting Surah al-Mu’min in a dream signifies deliverance, firm faith, and departing this world with faith in one’s last breath. Sometimes, the person who recites this surah in a dream becomes chaste and is delivered from calamities.

To recite Surah al-Mu’min in a dream signifies that Almighty Allah will keep him among the believers in this world, and at the time of his death the angels will show his soul things that bring glad tidings.

24- Surah al-Nur: To see oneself reciting Surah al-Nur or a portion thereof in a dream signifies commanding what is right, forbidding what is wrong, loving for the sake of Allah, and showing enmity for the sake of Allah.

25- Surah al-Furqan: To see oneself reciting Surah al-Furqan or a portion thereof in a dream signifies loving the truth and hating falsehood. Sometimes, to see oneself reciting that surah signifies distinguishing between truth and falsehood and entering Paradise without reckoning, by Allah’s permission.

26- Surah al-Shu‘ara: To see oneself reciting Surah al-Shu‘ara or a portion thereof in a dream signifies preserving oneself from evil and false speech.

27- Surah al-Naml: To see oneself reciting Surah al-Naml or a portion thereof in a dream signifies knowledge that will make the dreamer famous. That person will also be provided with dominion, understanding, and rank.

28- Surah al-Qasas: To see oneself reciting Surah al-Qasas or a portion thereof in a dream signifies that the dreamer will be tested by Allah in a certain place, and that he will be provided with lawful wealth, knowledge, and understanding.

29- Surah al-‘Ankabut: To see oneself reciting Surah al-‘Ankabut or a portion thereof in a dream signifies remaining under Allah’s protection until death. At times, this dream also signifies being tested through solitude and receiving glad tidings because of one’s patience.

30- Surah al-Rum: To see oneself reciting Surah al-Rum or a verse thereof in a dream signifies wealth and knowledge, gain, victory over the enemy, and lawful wealth.

31- Surah Luqman: To see oneself reciting Surah Luqman or a verse thereof in a dream signifies that Almighty Allah will teach that person the Book and wisdom, and provide him with sincere belief.

32- Surah al-Sajdah: To see oneself reciting Surah al-Sajdah or a portion thereof in a dream signifies being provided with asceticism and piety in this world, becoming among those who attain deliverance in the sight of Allah, the heart’s being safe from hypocrisy, and affirming divine unity.

33- Surah al-Ahzab: To see oneself reciting Surah al-Ahzab or a verse thereof in a dream signifies becoming pious, being delivered from the torment of the grave, keeping away from falsehood, and loving the righteous.

34- Surah Saba: To see oneself reciting Surah Saba or a portion thereof in a dream, or to see it recited over oneself, signifies living in asceticism in this world, loving to carry weapons, and being courageous and daring.

35- Surah Fatir: To see oneself reciting Surah Fatir or a verse thereof in a dream signifies that the angels brought near to Allah will seek forgiveness for that person, that the gates of Paradise will be opened for him on the Day of Resurrection, and that he will prevail over his enemy.

36- Surah Ya-Sin: To see oneself reciting Surah Ya-Sin or a portion thereof in a dream, or to see it recited over oneself, signifies a pure heart, firm faith, remaining distant from doubt and danger, performing abundant good deeds, and being together with the Messenger of Allah and his Household on the Day of Resurrection.

37- Surah al-Saffat: To see oneself reciting Surah al-Saffat in a dream signifies upright belief and reputable offspring.

38- Surah Sad: To see oneself reciting Surah Sad or a portion thereof in a dream signifies that the dreamer will possess much wealth and become proficient in his profession.

39- Surah al-Zumar: To see oneself reciting Surah al-Zumar or a portion thereof in a dream signifies being in the foremost rank with the believers on the Day of Resurrection, a good end, and books.

40- Surah Ghafir: To see oneself reciting Surah Ghafir or a portion thereof in a dream signifies becoming a true believer and a person of goodness, and being provided with exaltation in this world and the Hereafter.

41- Surah Fussilat: To see oneself reciting Surah Fussilat or a portion thereof in a dream signifies calling people to guidance and the straight path, earning abundant reward, and seeking Allah’s good pleasure.

42- Surah al-Shu‘ara: To see oneself reciting Surah al-Shu‘ara or a portion thereof in a dream signifies a long life, abundant seeking of forgiveness, increase in knowledge and deeds, and recovery from illness.

43- Surah al-Zukhruf: To see oneself reciting Surah al-Zukhruf or a portion thereof in a dream signifies being safe from fear on the Day of Resurrection and having one’s life in the Hereafter in safety.

44- Surah al-Dukhan: To see oneself reciting Surah al-Dukhan or a portion thereof in a dream signifies honor and exaltation, being safe from the torment of the grave and the fire of Hell, strong belief, and victory over the enemy.

45- Surah al-Jathiyah: To see oneself reciting Surah al-Jathiyah or a verse thereof in a dream signifies becoming possessed of asceticism and piety, fearing Allah, keeping away from evils, and being gathered in safety on the Day of Resurrection.

46- Surah al-Ahqaf: For one who recites Surah al-Ahqaf in his dream, the Angel of Death will come to him in a beautiful form and treat him mercifully.

47- Surah Muhammad: To see oneself reciting Surah Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, or a portion thereof in a dream signifies being beneath the banner of our Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, on the Day of Resurrection, living according to the Sunnah in this world, and prevailing over the enemy.

48- Surah al-Fath: To see oneself reciting Surah al-Fath or a verse thereof in a dream, or to see it recited over oneself, signifies striving in the way of Allah, passing from constriction to spaciousness, and attaining one’s purpose.

49- Surah al-Hujurat: To see oneself reciting Surah al-Hujurat or a portion thereof in a dream, or to see it recited over oneself, signifies submitting to Allah’s judgment, visiting one’s brothers, reconciling people with goodness, and performing abundant good deeds.

50- Surah Qaf: To see oneself reciting Surah Qaf or a portion thereof in a dream, or to see it recited over oneself, signifies performing deeds like those of the prophets, knowledge, the opening of the gates of goodness, and an increase in sustenance.

51- Surah al-Dhariyat: To see oneself reciting Surah al-Dhariyat or a portion thereof in a dream, or to see it recited over oneself, signifies being provided with sustenance from the plants of the earth and living harmoniously with relatives and neighbors.

52- Surah al-Tur: To see oneself reciting Surah al-Tur or a portion thereof in a dream signifies righteous deeds and entering into a blessed marriage.

53- Surah al-Najm: To see oneself reciting Surah al-Najm or a portion thereof in a dream, or to see it recited over oneself, signifies having a child who will fight in the way of Allah and die upon a blessed path.

54- Surah al-Qamar: To see oneself reciting Surah al-Qamar or a portion thereof in a dream signifies that one’s face will shine like the full moon on the Day of Resurrection.

55- Surah al-Rahman: To see oneself reciting Surah al-Rahman or a portion thereof in a dream, or to see it recited over oneself, signifies attaining Allah’s forgiveness and mercy, knowledge, and keeping away from evil and wickedness.

56- Surah al-Waqi‘ah: To see oneself reciting Surah al-Waqi‘ah or a portion thereof in a dream, or to see it recited over oneself, signifies being safe from poverty in this world, being provided with good deeds in the Hereafter, and being among the first group to enter Paradise.

57- Surah al-Hadid: To see oneself reciting Surah al-Hadid or a verse thereof in a dream signifies beautiful character and strength in religion.

58- Surah al-Mujadilah: To see oneself reciting Surah al-Mujadilah or a verse thereof in a dream, or to see it recited over oneself, signifies struggling against unbelief and falsehood.

59- Surah al-Hashr: To see oneself reciting Surah al-Hashr or a portion thereof in a dream, or to see it recited over oneself, signifies that the dreamer will be intimate with the pious on the Day of Resurrection.

60- Surah al-Mumtahanah: To see oneself reciting Surah al-Mumtahanah or a portion thereof in a dream signifies worshipping and obeying Almighty Allah with sincerity.

61- Surah al-Saff: To see oneself reciting Surah al-Saff or a portion thereof in a dream signifies steadfastness and vigilance, and dying as a martyr in the way of Allah.

62- Surah al-Jumu‘ah: To see oneself reciting Surah al-Jumu‘ah or a portion thereof in a dream signifies receiving a reward like that of those who go to the Friday prayer.

63- Surah al-Munafiqun: To see oneself reciting Surah al-Munafiqun or a portion thereof in a dream signifies associating with people whose belief is not that of the dreamer.

68- Surah Nun: To see oneself reciting Surah Nun or a portion thereof in a dream signifies being provided with writing and eloquence, intellect, knowledge, and beautiful character.

69- Surah al-Haqqah: To see oneself reciting Surah al-Haqqah or a portion thereof in a dream signifies nearness to Almighty Allah, repentance from sins, and being upon the truth.

70- Surah al-Ma‘arij: To see oneself reciting Surah al-Ma‘arij or a portion thereof in a dream, or to see it recited over oneself, signifies becoming pious at the end of one’s life, observing many fasts, and prevailing in all one’s affairs.

71- Surah al-Nur: To see oneself reciting Surah al-Nur or a portion thereof in a dream signifies victory over the enemy, abolishing immorality and evil, and bringing fairness to light.

74- Surah al-Muddaththir: To see oneself reciting Surah al-Muddaththir or a portion thereof in a dream, or to see it recited over oneself, signifies fasting much, possessing a secret, being among the patient, commanding what is right, and forbidding what is wrong.

75- Surah al-Qiyamah: To see oneself reciting Surah al-Qiyamah or a portion thereof in a dream signifies becoming a person of goodness and charity, feeding the poor and needy abundantly, and refraining from swearing oaths.

76- Surah al-Insan: For a person to see himself reciting Surah al-Insan or a portion thereof in a dream signifies being provided with gratitude and worship, and preferring asceticism and piety to his own soul. This dream also signifies love and affection toward the Household of the Prophet of Prophets and beautiful character.

77- Surah al-Mursalat: To see oneself reciting Surah al-Mursalat or a verse thereof in a dream signifies being safe from fear, being provided with spaciousness and mercy, and acting generously toward one’s family.

78- Surah al-Naba: To see oneself reciting Surah al-Naba or a portion thereof in a dream signifies that the dreamer will be praised for goodness, lauded, and made beloved to the people by Allah.

To recite this surah in a dream signifies fame and renown, being remembered by a good name, remaining upon guidance in religion, and having a long life.

79- Surah al-Nazi‘at: To see oneself reciting Surah al-Nazi‘at or a portion thereof in a dream signifies good fortune in trade, benefit in craftsmanship, and deliverance from doubt and treachery in the heart.

80- Surah ‘Abasa: To see oneself reciting Surah ‘Abasa or a portion thereof in a dream signifies giving much charity and alms, and traveling toward the east.

97- Surah al-Qadr: For a person to see himself reciting Surah al-Qadr or a portion thereof in a dream, or to see it recited over himself, signifies—if it is auspicious—the beauty of his condition, abundant reward, a long life, truthful speech, and exaltation of his renown.

98- Surah al-Bayyinah: To see oneself reciting Surah al-Bayyinah or a portion thereof in a dream signifies that the person will attain guidance through the hand of someone, that complete belief will arise in his heart, and fear and glad tidings.

113- Surah al-Falaq: To see oneself reciting Surah al-Falaq or a portion thereof in a dream, or to see it recited over oneself, signifies the beauty of one’s condition, prevailing over the enemy, Allah’s exalting one’s name, protection from all evils, and being provided with the Greatest Name.

114- Surah al-Nas: To see oneself reciting Surah al-Nas or a portion thereof in a dream, or to see it recited over oneself, signifies that the dreamer’s desires and wishes will be fulfilled, victory over the enemy, and being safe from the evils of Satan.
