Smelling
Smelling something fragrant in a dream signifies joy and relief, or a simple illness such as a cold. Smelling something foul-smelling in a dream denotes sorrow and grief, and hearing ugly words. If the thing made to be smelled is pleasant, it signifies peace.
Whoever sees in a dream that he smells something fragrant will suffer a simple illness. A bad odor, for the one who smells it, signifies ugly words or grief.
