Tree

Just as people in the world are of various kinds, so trees too are of many varieties. Therefore, dreams carry different meanings according to the species of tree seen.

To see fragrant trees bearing no fruit in a dream indicates that the dreamer will show ingratitude toward those who do good, and toward people who are tolerant and charitable. To see trees such as orange, lemon, and citron, whose fruits are both eaten and smelled, signifies the person’s inner and outward beauty, and the importance he attaches to knowledge and wisdom.

Trees seen in a dream signify women and various men of differing qualities.

To see an unknown tree in a dream indicates that the person will pass through days filled with anxiety and violence, and will display aggressive behavior.

To see trees with fruit upon them and to see that one cannot reach them indicates that property will not come into the person’s possession; but to pluck and gather the fruits from the leaves of the trees likewise signifies property and wealth.

Whoever sees in his dream that he has climbed a tall and magnificent tree will meet a learned and important person and benefit from his knowledge and wisdom. If the person who sees such a dream is unmarried, it indicates that he will marry.

The branches of a tree seen in a dream signify brothers, children, and relatives. To see the branches of a tree becoming green and multiplying indicates that the person’s relatives and friends will increase.

To see oneself planting a tree somewhere in a dream signifies honor, exalted ranks, and friendship with great personages. Whoever witnesses that the trees he has planted have grown and flourished will be pleased with the children he has raised.

For the person who sees people resting in the shade of the tree he planted, all his material and spiritual investments will reach a fine conclusion.

Whoever sees himself resting beneath the shade of a majestic tree will see the benefit of his efforts, or will retire to rest and seclusion under the protection of the results of his own deeds or of another powerful person.

If you see yourself resting in the shade of a feeble tree which you think does not protect you with its shade, this shows that you regret what you have done, or think that you do not deserve certain beauties.

To see trees sprouting in a place—perhaps in the garden of your house, or in a place familiar and known to you—where you are certain they had not been before, signifies that new people will enter your life or family and take root there. If the presence of these trees does not disturb you, know that the people entering your life will bring goodness, regardless of how they presently appear to you. However, if these new and unfamiliar trees weigh upon your heart, then the people who will enter your life and establish a place in it will disturb your peace for a long time.
