OPPRESSOR

In a dream, seeing an oppressor, one who torments people and takes pleasure in their suffering, denotes a person of dark nature, the darkness of night, and evils from which one must keep away and be wary.

If a person sees in a dream that he is wronging his own soul, this shows that he has begun to turn away from goodness and charity. If he persists in this, the positive events continuing in his life will, in time, turn into an unblessed and dark path. He will harm first himself and then those around him. Everyone who is with him will gradually begin to abandon him. After seeing such dreams, a person should pray abundantly that Allah (SWT) prevent him from straying from the straight path.

To see in a dream that the person whom one has wronged invokes a curse upon oneself shows that one will incur the wrath of Allah (SWT) and that evils will befall one. The person should seek the forgiveness and absolution of the one whom he has wronged and follow the path of goodness.

To see a leader or ruler who oppresses his people shows that the person does not deal justly with his family members. He must act justly toward his family members and repent of his wrongful conduct.

To see in a dream an oppressive person wronging everyone denotes that many evil events will occur around the dreamer. It shows that the evil event must be intervened in. If one of your relatives is being oppressed, someone in your close circle will fall into difficulty, and he will be able to escape this situation only through your assistance.

To see in a dream that one is party to oppression shows that, when a person asks you for help, you will not help him and he will fall into an even more difficult situation. Thereafter, this becomes the cause of painful periods. It must not be forgotten that remaining a spectator to oppression is the same as committing oppression.

To see an oppressive ruler in a dream denotes difficulties and troubles to be encountered in school or professional life. These difficulties and troubles will arise from superiors such as supervisors and directors.

To see in a dream that a curse is being invoked against an oppressor denotes that the difficulties being experienced will be overcome. Great effort must be expended and prayers must be offered in order to overcome the difficulties. To receive news in a dream of the oppressor’s death denotes that deliverance will take place soon. It is an indication that one will be freed from difficult circumstances and that a long period of ease and relief will begin.

To beat and kill an oppressor in a dream shows that one feels great remorse for the sins committed. The person must repent and, by praying abundantly, must not depart from the path of truth.

If the oppressive person in the dream is oneself, this shows that someone has been brought into distress on account of oneself. The person who sees this dream must find, as soon as possible, who it is whom he has caused distress in his life. He must ask that person’s forgiveness and free himself from the situation into which he has fallen. He must remain by that person’s side until he sees and knows that the person is living in prosperity.

Neglect, haste, untrustworthy people or uncontrolled behavior can increase the difficulty.
