Bellows
Unlawful property, unlawful earnings, and laying hands upon the portion allotted to others.
Seeing bellows in a dream is not interpreted as good. Whoever sees in his dream that he has kindled a great fire by pulling bellows—if he is an official or a laborer—will become involved in a great sedition in his work, be brought before the court, and eventually be convicted. Seeing oneself trying to kindle the coal in a brazier with a small pair of bellows indicates that one will attain sustenance and abundance.
Seeing the bellows used in a mine to melt ores indicates that great services are expected of the dreamer in worldly affairs. Seeing a goldsmith’s bellows used for melting gold and silver is a sign of property and blessings, or of withdrawing into a cell for worship.
According to Ibn Kathir, seeing bellows in a dream denotes the keeper of a dungeon. Whoever sees that, despite working the bellows, the fire does not burn, it indicates that a matter he expects from the government will not come to pass. Seeing oneself pulling bellows in a blacksmith’s shop and melting iron indicates that his wish will be fulfilled.
According to another narration: Whoever sees wooden bellows in a dream will fall from his rank and lose his dominion. Whoever sees that he possesses bellows will attain official office if he is qualified; and if he is qualified and experienced, he will attain goodness and benefit. If there is fire where the bellows are in a dream, it indicates the fulfillment of needs and sustenance. If there is no fire, it indicates sorrow, grief, and distress. Bellows intended for melting gold and silver indicate affirming the Oneness of Allah, sincerity, and withdrawing into seclusion for worship. Sometimes bellows indicate a woman who frequently becomes pregnant and suffers quick miscarriages, or a man who is quick to anger and take offense. Sometimes bellows indicate a dungeon, a prison, or the station of one who inflicts torture. At times, if the bellows are those of a blacksmith, they indicate the facilitation of affairs.
Seeing bellows in a dream indicates an observer. Seeing bellows indicates reviving thoughts and the sick person’s recovery; bellows indicate sustenance and that affairs will proceed well, and that a woman is pregnant with a male child.
Ibn Sirin: Seeing bellows in a dream indicates a tyrannical and powerful person, sedition, or a man who distinguishes truth from falsehood.
