Garden (Vegetable and Fruit Garden)

Seeing a garden in a dream signifies that the person who sees it will become engaged or marry.

To see that you have planted a sapling in a garden signifies that you will have a righteous child.

To see in your dream that you are watering a garden indicates that your financial condition will grow better day by day and that your social rank will also rise.

To see in your dream that you are gathering vegetables and fruits from a garden indicates that you will now behold the fruits of the works you have carried out throughout your life; therefore, you will attain tranquillity and peace and henceforth will know nothing of distress.

To see yourself digging and planting a garden signifies that you will invest money in a venture in order to gain profit; to see in a dream that the garden has yielded produce signifies that you will obtain an abundant income from the enterprise you have undertaken.

Whoever sees in his dream that he has sown seed in a garden will have a child.

If a person sees in his dream that he is digging a garden with a spade, this signifies that he will marry.

According to the interpretation of Daniel (peace be upon him): Seeing a garden in a dream is interpreted as a woman. If a person sees that he is watering a garden, this signifies that he will have sexual intercourse with his wife.

To see in one’s dream that there is a fragrant plant in one’s own garden signifies that one will have a disobedient child; and if a person sees in his dream that there is a plum tree in his own garden, this signifies that he will have a child who will acquire knowledge and education.

According to the interpretation of Ibn Sirin: If a person sees in his dream that he possesses a garden, that it contains many various fruits, and that he plucks and eats from them, this signifies that he will marry a wealthy woman and benefit from that woman.

If a person sees in his dream that he enters a garden in autumn and that leaves fall upon him, this signifies that he will fall into sorrow, grief, and hardship in earning his livelihood; and if a person sees in his dream that he enters a garden in which there are beautiful trees, flowing streams, and beautiful women, this indicates that he will die as a martyr.

To see in a dream that fruits fall upon you in your own garden signifies that you will quarrel with a famous person and prevail over him; to see yourself leaning from a high place against something in any garden indicates that you will receive goodness from your child and your family.

According to the interpretation of Kirmani: Seeing a garden in a dream is interpreted as a person who possesses wealth and property. If you see that you are in a garden adorned with grasses and fruit trees in the spring season, and that a flood comes and uproots and carries away all the trees, this signifies the death of a notable statesman residing in that city.

If you enter a garden in your dream and see a lion there, this signifies that the ruler who governs that city will triumph over his enemies; if you see in your dream that a fire has broken out in a garden and that everything has burned, this signifies that the judge of that city will die of a heart ailment.

If a person sees wolves and hunters in a garden in his dream, this signifies that there is no justice in that region. If a person sees a number of sheep in any garden in his dream, this signifies that he will be unable to acquire wealth.

If a person sees oxen and donkeys in a garden in his dream, this signifies the exaltation of the ruler of that place and the increase of wealth and blessings. Seeing any garden together with any horse in a dream signifies exalted persons.

According to the interpretation of Ja‘far al-Sadiq: Seeing a garden in a dream has been interpreted in seven ways. These are: a spouse, a child, livelihood, wealth, riches, joy, and a servant.

According to another interpretation, seeing a garden in a dream is interpreted as a householder, a prudent spouse, and a beloved woman.

If a person sees in his dream that he enters a garden whose leaves have fallen and turned yellow, this signifies that he will fall into anguish and grief. Seeing a garden in a dream sometimes also indicates that one will attain the blessings of Paradise.

For Almighty Allah has called the garden “Paradise” in the Noble Qur’an. Seeing a garden in a dream sometimes also signifies a marketplace, or the room of a bride or bridegroom. The tree of the garden indicates the bride’s table, while the fruits of the garden indicate her food.

If a person sees in his dream that he enters a garden and that his servant or slave urinates into the water channel therein, or that he draws water from another channel or a well in order to irrigate the garden, this signifies that the servant or slave will betray the wife of the dreamer.

With the right perspective, it can signify restoring balance, recovery, and developing a new understanding.

Uncertainty, indecision, or a tendency to take on excessive burden may be observed.
