Walking on Water
To walk upon water in a dream signifies that the dreamer makes exceedingly grand assertions. It may also be interpreted as the dreamer taking misguided steps in order to fulfil the words he has spoken. It indicates that the person will embark upon risky ventures and thereafter suffer sorrow. It denotes that the person is exceedingly devoted to his professional life and will disregard his personal safety in order to accomplish what he has said.
To walk upon water in a dream does not bear very auspicious meanings. It generally also signifies that the person will suffer disappointment in a matter of which he has dreamed, or will be unable to attain his aims. At times, it likewise bears the meaning that the dreamer will risk and lose, in a single stroke, the money he has accumulated over many years.
Positive Meaning

Shadow Meaning

Advice
In the interpretation, the themes of work and responsibility, success and reputation, the emotional tone in the dream, and how the symbol concludes in the dream should be evaluated together.
