To gird oneself with a weapon in a dream signifies knowledge, wealth that will deliver a person from poverty and hardship, driving away the enemy, and prevailing over the one whom he fears. Moreover, to gird oneself with a weapon in a dream signifies medicine and a wife who protects him from the evil of Satan.

The interpretation of seeing a weapon in a dream signifies attaining esteem and respect, being granted an honor, deliverance from troubles and sorrows, and happiness.

To sell a weapon in a dream signifies losing one’s esteem and suffering harm; to lose one’s weapon signifies the death of one’s spouse or of a very close relative or friend.

Ibn Sirin: Seeing a weapon in a dream signifies strength and victory, or it may signify overcoming an illness. If one sees in a dream that he is carrying a weapon while those around him are unarmed, it signifies that he will come to prominence within society.
