Imperial Tent

To see an imperial tent in a dream—a great tent—is an exceedingly great good for religion and the world. To see oneself inside such a tent signifies sovereignty and felicity, performing the pilgrimage, attaching oneself to a gate of exalted divine aid, and attaining the rank of martyrdom. An imperial tent erected in the desert and outside a settled area in a dream indicates that the grave of a great personage is there, that a service of the state will be rendered there, or that soldiers will gather in one place for jihad.

What does it mean to see an imperial tent in a dream: It is interpreted as glory, honor, renown, and glad tidings. To see oneself in an imperial tent erected for oneself indicates that, if one is deserving of it, one will rise to a high rank or receive good and benefit from the head of state.

To see the tent called an imperial tent being taken down in a dream means that the rank and esteem of the dreamer will diminish, or that his life will come to an end. Whoever sees the imperial tent being opened in preparation for its erection will, despite some delay, nevertheless attain good and benefit.

According to Ja'far al-Sadiq (may God be pleased with him), the great tent called an imperial tent is interpreted in five ways: sovereignty, the presidency, the premiership, commandership, and ministry. To see the tent collapsing in a dream indicates that the country is upon an evil course; to see it lying on its side indicates the death of the head of state; to see it burning indicates defeat; and to see the wind carry it away indicates that another head of state will come to that place.

According to Abu Sa'id al-Wa'iz, great tents are interpreted as power and lofty ranks. Whoever sees such a tent erected over himself will prevail over a very powerful and great enemy.

It can be read as a sign of easing, receiving support, gaining morale, or a fruitful development.

Underestimating opportunities, succumbing to comfort, or being late may reduce the positive effect.

In the interpretation, the themes of work and responsibility, success and reputation, the emotional tone in the dream, and how the symbol concludes in the dream should be evaluated together.
