To see zakat in a dream signifies that one’s wealth will increase and be blessed during that year, performing the prayer at its appointed time, persevering in the night prayer, and paying off a debt.

To give zakat in a dream sometimes signifies losing a beloved person or falling into debt. To give the alms of breaking the fast signifies performing much prayer and glorification, paying one’s debt if one has any, being spared illness during that year, and other benefits.

To see oneself refraining from giving the alms of breaking the fast and one’s zakat signifies being deprived of good deeds and of tasting the sweetness of faith, and indicates harm that will befall one’s property.

Ibn Sirin: To give zakat in a dream signifies an increase in income or abundance. If a wealthy person sees that he has given the zakat of his liquid assets, it indicates an increase in his wealth, spiritual elevation, and the blessing of performing the obligatory prayers at their appointed times. Zakat also signifies protection from enemies, performing supererogatory prayer at night, paying debts, and deliverance from sin. At times, it may also indicate the death of a beloved member of the family or the loss of a limb on account of illness. In the end, giving zakat signifies an increase in wealth and its being blessed.

It provides early awareness; the person sees risks before they grow and can choose a more solid path.

Neglect, haste, untrustworthy people or uncontrolled behavior can increase the difficulty.
