To add food to a dish containing food in a dream means that you will show a person more attention than is necessary; and if the dish overflows, it means that this person will be greatly overwhelmed by it.

If you dream that you are constantly adding words to what a person says and making comments in agreement with him, the dream is interpreted to mean that you will stand behind a person in one of his actions, in a matter he has newly undertaken, or in a decision he has made, and that you will do everything in your power for him to succeed in this matter.

If, in a dream, you add something to an object but that object does not increase at all, it means that you will undertake a task in which you think you have labored repeatedly without obtaining its result. It is interpreted as meaning that it would be beneficial for you to keep away from this situation, which will distress you, and to avoid tasks in which you do not think you have received the necessary attention and effort.

To feel uneasy about a completed task in a dream and to be anxious about continually making additions to it means that, in your ordinary life, your anxiety that you have left something incomplete will increase. The fact that you foresee this at present will enable you to take the correct steps toward correcting it.

The number three expresses the fulfillment of a promise. The number four means going on pilgrimage to Mecca. The number five means doubt and weakness of faith. Perhaps the number six indicates gaining victory over an enemy or producing proof of a charge against enemies. Counting seven or eight in a dream has negative connotations. Counting up to ten may mean the expiation of sins.

To see oneself counting money on which the Name of Allah is written in a dream means that one celebrates the praise of Allah and exalts His Name. To see oneself counting large banknotes bearing the Name of Allah Almighty in a dream indicates acquiring knowledge. If the money is adorned with pictures or bears the pictures of people known in the dream, then it indicates immersing oneself in innovations, religious innovations, falsehood, or polytheism. Counting pearls in a dream means reading the Noble Qur’an. Counting jewels in a dream means learning wisdom or acquiring knowledge at the hand of a gnostic person. Counting the beads of a rosary in a dream indicates interfering in people’s affairs, using obscene language, or adultery.

Counting sheep in a dream means counting money or counting one’s children. Counting cows in a dream indicates longevity or passing through long and difficult periods. If a farmer sees himself counting camels in a dream, it means rain and a plentiful harvest. Counting buffaloes in a dream indicates suffering hardship and affliction in one’s life.

It can be read as a sign of easing, receiving support, gaining morale, or a fruitful development.

Underestimating opportunities, succumbing to comfort, or being late may reduce the positive effect.
