Ibn Sîrîn: To see oneself struggling with death in a dream indicates disputing about one’s religion or doubting the revelations of Allah. To see the death rattle indicates preparing for a journey, the marriage of a bachelor, moving from one house to another, changing one’s profession, paying one’s debt, or divorcing one’s wife. To see oneself suffering agony upon the deathbed in a dream indicates that one has wronged oneself or others.
