Whatever He says to His servant without modality comes to pass exactly as said. To suppose in a dream that one has seen Allah denotes faith and guidance. In reality, seeing Allah in a dream is impossible. Supposing that one has seen Allah is mercy, blessing, deliverance from every kind of evil and ugliness, and the intention to attain deliverance. It signifies that doors will be opened for one to be freed from troubles. If the person who sees such a dream does not believe in Allah, his attaining guidance is near.

Seeing Allahu Ta‘ala in a dream is interpreted in different ways. First, it must be known that it is stated in the Noble Qur’an: “There is nothing whatsoever like unto Him.” (Sūrat al-Shūrā, verse 11.) Whoever sees Allah (C.C.) in his dream in His majesty and might, without modality and without likening Him to anything, such a dream denotes goodness. It signifies that the owner of such a dream will attain beauties in this world and will make fine preparations today, in the life of this world, for the life of the Hereafter.

The opposite of such a dream denotes the evil end of the dreamer. In particular, if one sees Allah in one’s dream but Allah does not speak to that person, and if the person who sees such a dream is ill, it very probably denotes that he will not regain his health.
