Giving alms in a dream is interpreted as deliverance from distress and as goodness.

What does it mean to give alms in a dream: It signifies becoming wealthy, recovering one’s health if one is ill, and leaving all troubles behind.

Ibn Sîrîn: Giving alms in a dream signifies warding off calamities, recovery from illness, profit, or righteousness. This also applies if he acquires his earnings through lawful means; however, if he gives a dead animal, wine, stolen property, or ill-managed possessions as alms, his alms will not be accepted, and it signifies that he will plunge into evil and commit sin. If a farmer who has had a poor harvest sees himself giving alms from what he has sown, it signifies that his crops will increase and his produce will be blessed. If he gives his alms to a wealthy person, it signifies that he may suffer financial hardship or become dependent upon that person. If he gives alms to a prostitute, it signifies that she will repent of her sin; and if he gives them to a thief, it signifies that the thief will abandon his profession.

Alms also signify suppressing the envy and rancour of one’s rivals, overcoming the jealousy of the enemy, and warding off evils. If an angry person sees himself secretly distributing alms, it signifies that Allah Most High has forgiven him the sin of anger. Secret alms also signify seeking friendship with persons in authority or attending the gatherings of the people of knowledge. If a person of knowledge is asked to give alms and gives them, it signifies that he will transmit his knowledge to others; if he is a merchant, it signifies that he will benefit others through his business or teach them his profession; and if he is a craftsman, it signifies that he will teach them his craft.

If a person under pressure or in fear sees himself feeding a beggar who is in distress, it signifies the removal of his fear and stress. Alms also signify remembering Allah, worship, visiting graves, and doing good. Spending money in the way of Allah signifies that one will certainly earn money while awake.

It provides early awareness; the person sees risks before they grow and can choose a more solid path.

Neglect, haste, untrustworthy people or uncontrolled behavior can increase the difficulty.
