To see any of the angels in a dream signifies goodness; to see an angel descend upon a place signifies goodness and blessing for the people dwelling there, and deliverance from sorrow and grief. To see oneself flying together with an angel denotes happiness in this world and the Hereafter.

To see an angel in human form and cleanly dressed signifies joy and delight, goodness and blessing; to see an angel in rags and wretched garments signifies sorrow and grief, loss and harm.

To see an angel in the form of a woman signifies that one is not acceptable because of doing certain things incompletely and imperfectly; to see oneself become an angel denotes victory, exaltation, and esteem.

To see an angel curse one in a dream signifies corruption of belief and فساد in religion; to see an angel speak with one is interpreted as great goodness and benefits in this world and the Hereafter.

To see the angels of punishment greet the dead or promise him something good is interpreted as the dreamer attaining his desire and wish, and attaining honour, wealth, relief, joy, and a sound heart. If a dead person reports in a dream that the angels of punishment did not come near him, it signifies the dreamer’s good conduct, his state of well-being, the acceptance of his obedience, and, if he has a debt, his deliverance from it. To see the angel who comes to the dead in the grave signifies that the poor will become rich, the unemployed will be appointed to a duty, or that a person will be made to stand as a witness concerning some matter and will neglect the rules of testimony.

To see the recording angels in a dream signifies renowned scholars and trustworthy persons. Some have said that if the person who sees the recording angels in a dream is God-fearing, he will attain joy and glad tidings in this world and the Hereafter and enter Paradise. If he is not God-fearing, they said, he must remain in fear. It is a sign that you will receive good news. If the angel is coming toward you, you must change your way of life.

With the right perspective, it can signify restoring balance, recovery, and developing a new understanding.

Uncertainty, indecision, or a tendency to take on excessive burden may be observed.
