Angels

To see Gabriel (peace be upon him) in a dream is a sign that one shall attain one’s desires and wishes. Whoever sees Michael (peace be upon him), his property, honor, and esteem shall increase, and he shall become renowned for wealth and generosity. To see Israfil (peace be upon him) denotes receiving good news, undertaking a profitable journey, and commencing a lucrative enterprise. Whoever sees Azrael (peace be upon him) must prepare for death. If a sick person sees this dream, or if there is a sick person in the place seen, that sick person shall die. Whoever sees Azrael (peace be upon him) kissing him shall come into an inheritance.

To see any other angel among the angels in a dream is interpreted as خير. To see an angel descend upon a place denotes that the people of that place shall attain goodness and blessing and be delivered from grief and sorrow. Whoever sees himself flying together with the angels shall attain felicity in this world and in the Hereafter. To see an angel in human form, well dressed, denotes joy and goodness; but to see him ill dressed denotes that one shall suffer grief and sorrow. If he speaks with the angel, he shall receive very great benefit.

To see an angel in the form of a woman in a dream denotes that one is not acceptable in the sight of Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He). To see oneself transformed into the form of an angel is evidence that one shall attain a high station and that one’s affairs in this world shall become easy. To see that revelation has been brought to him through an angel known to him is interpreted as success, might, glory, goodness and blessing, property and abundance, strength, and strength in religion.

Ibn Sirin: To see angels in a dream signifies glad tidings, might, honor, and the mercy of Allah. To see the angels offering a благословенная prayer for one denotes righteous deeds and guidance to the straight path.

Ibn Sirin: To see in a dream the recording angels, the angels who guard the writings of the Preserved Tablet, and the spiritual beings or scribes charged with recording the deeds of people, represents the gnostics, the renowned men of knowledge in society, the religious scholars, and trustworthy persons. To see the recording scribes in a dream denotes glad tidings in this world and in the Hereafter. If a person leads a life of piety, Paradise is his final abode; but if he is a sinner, this is an evident warning. Meeting the blessed angels charged with keeping the records also signifies encountering hardships, followed afterward by deliverance from one’s trials.

Ibn Sirin: If a pious person sees the recording angels in a dream, this signifies glad tidings, abundance, happiness, and joy in this world and in the Hereafter. If a sinful person sees them in a dream, it signifies that he must reform his life and keep the company of righteous and good people.

Ibn Sirin: To see in a dream servants carrying food, sweets, and fruit upon trays into the house signifies that someone who has long been ill in the house shall recover, or that he may die as a martyr; it also signifies glad tidings. If a king, a merchant, or a man of knowledge sees himself eating in a dream from the hand of a servant or a nursemaid, this denotes his authority, knowledge, and wisdom; it may also signify that he shall fall ill or that his affairs shall expand.

Ibn Sirin: To see soldiers in a dream represents the angels and armies of the mercy of Allah, whereas mercenary soldiers represent the soldiers of torment. If a person sees himself in a dream as a soldier eating in the chambers of a king, it signifies that he shall govern a land without making much effort. If someone’s name is listed in a dream as a soldier, it signifies his prosperity, contentment, or continuation of his education. If a bedridden person sees himself in a dream as a soldier in a camp or as discharged from the army, it may signify that his illness shall end in death, or it may indicate hardships, distress, and losses.

The gathering of soldiers in a dream signifies the destruction of tyrants and the victory of righteous people. A soldier carrying a whip or an arrow in a dream also signifies good character. The number one hundred of soldiers in a dream represents the torment and calamities that Allah Most High inflicts upon the people of the earth because of their sins at the end of every century or at the beginning of a new century. To see one thousand soldiers in a dream represents the blessed Night of Power, which occurs near the end of the month of Ramadan, the month of fasting. If the soldiers are led in a dream by a prophet, a king, a learned person, or a man of knowledge, it signifies victory for the believers.

If a person sees in a dream an army entering a town, they may signify rain.

It can be read as a sign of easing, receiving support, gaining morale, or a fruitful development.

Underestimating opportunities, succumbing to comfort, or being late may reduce the positive effect.
