Arafat
To see Arafat in a dream, or to see oneself standing in vigil at Arafat, denotes exalted ranks and the acceptance of prayers. For the first man and first Prophet, His Holiness Adam, prayed to Allah Almighty at Arafat, and his repentance was accepted.
Moreover, to see Arafat in a dream is one of the pillars of the pilgrimage.
According to another interpretation, it signifies that you will meet again with a relative who is far away.
Ibn Sirin: To see oneself praying in the Plain of Arafat on the ninth day of Dhu’l-Hijjah, during the season of the pilgrimage, signifies the return home of a traveller long awaited, the reunion of lovers, the joining together of a family, reconciliation among friends, or peace being made between two persons. To see Mount Arafat or the Plain of Arafat may denote the season of the pilgrimage, going on pilgrimage, visiting Mecca for the lesser pilgrimage, the Friday prayer, the sixth day of the week, the market, or a profitable undertaking. Standing at Arafat signifies elevation in rank, a change in circumstances, one’s condition turning from good to bad or from bad to good, and sometimes the death of a beloved person, such as one’s wife, or moving to a blessed place or finding refuge.
It may also signify losing a battle against one’s enemy, yet thereby attaining honour and an exalted station, or gaining victory over the enemy. If a sinful person sees himself praying and repenting upon Mount Arafat or near the Mount of Mercy, it signifies that his repentance will be accepted, that a secret will be revealed, or that lovers will be reunited very soon. To see oneself standing at Arafat during the night signifies attaining one’s goals and satisfying one’s desire; whereas standing at Arafat after sunrise signifies that one’s question will remain unanswered.
