To see oneself divided in two at the waist, cast into the sea, and swimming upon the surface of the waters in a dream means that the dreamer will be denounced to the government, but a favorable result will emerge.
To be cut and divided at the waist in a dream, then hanged somewhere or displayed upon a heap, indicates that the ruler will settle a case that has become renowned among the people.
If the one divided at the waist is an evil person, the people will thank the ruler because of the outcome of the case. But if the one divided at the waist is a good person, the people will disapprove of the ruler’s judgment and take offense at him.
