Being Frightened
In a dream, being frightened by someone is interpreted as the one who is frightened gaining victory over the one who frightens him and becoming secure from him.
If he sees in a dream that someone threatens him for the purpose of obedience, he shall attain deliverance and victory.
According to the Diyanet interpretation of fear in a dream, it signifies becoming acquainted with the conditions of one’s enemies; but if the person frightening him is unknown and unrecognized—and especially if he is being frightened away from such things as performing the prayer, reciting the Qur’an, and giving alms—then that enemy is Satan. At times, a threat also signifies becoming afflicted with love.

It provides early awareness; the person sees risks before they grow and can choose a more solid path.
