According to Abd al-Ghani al-Nabulsi: Whoever sees blood flow from a part of his body without any apparent cause, if he is wealthy, will lose money or property in an amount equal to the quantity of blood; if he is poor, he will acquire money or property in that amount.

According to Ibn Kathir: Blood seen in a dream signifies the dreamer’s life, his manner of living, his strength and power, his possessions, the garments he wears, and such things as assist him in sustaining his life.

To see blood emerge from the body in a dream is an ill omen. For this reason, blood flowing from the body without cause signifies deliverance from distress and sorrow.

According to Ibn Sirin: Blood flowing in great abundance from the body signifies the cessation of benefits coming from one’s mother, father, child, or friend, or that part of one’s property will depart from one’s possession. This dream also signifies that some of one’s garments will be sold or that one will part from one of one’s beloved ones.

To see oneself drinking one’s own blood in a dream signifies that the person will be seized by great distress and grief, or that he will repay his debt by borrowing from another person. According to Ja‘far al-Sadiq: Human blood is also interpreted as property and money; therefore, to see blood flowing from one’s own body is evidence that property or money equal to the blood that has emerged will depart from one’s possession.

According to another report: Blood seen in a dream signifies unlawful property, or a sin committed by the dreamer, or an act through which sin will be earned. Therefore, whoever sees himself covered in blood will become an owner of property. Alternatively, he will be involved in unlawful property and a grave sin. If he sees in a dream blood of unknown origin on his own shirt, a false statement will be made against him. Whoever sees his shirt stained with the blood of a cat will have a false statement made against him by a thief. If he sees his own shirt stained with the blood of a lion or a predatory animal, a tyrannical person who has prevailed over him will make a false statement against him.

If he sees in a dream that his shirt has been stained with the blood of a ram, a noble, wealthy, and powerful person will make a false statement against him. After the lie, he will attain unlawful property in proportion to the blood. Blood flowing from the skin and flesh in a dream signifies health and safety. Some interpreters have said that if a person sees blood flowing from his body and a wound, bodily health and abundant wealth will come to him. If he is missing, he will return alive and attain goodness and joy.

Whoever sees himself drinking human blood in a dream will attain property and benefit and will be delivered from all sedition and affliction. Some interpreters have said that whoever sees himself drinking human blood will abstain from sin and improper actions and will be delivered from vile deeds. It has been said that whoever sees himself fall into a well of blood will become afflicted with bloodshed or unlawful property.

To see blood upon oneself in a dream signifies a lie that will be spoken against the person. Whoever sees blood flow from his body without intent, without having blood drawn, and without a wound, if he is wealthy, will lose property in the amount of the blood that flowed. If he is poor, he will acquire property in that amount.

If a person sees in a dream that he has fallen into a pit of blood, it signifies bloodshed that will cast him into agitation and anguish. If the nosebleed seen in a dream is very fluid and thin, it signifies unlawful property that will befall the person whose nose is bleeding; if the blood is thick, it signifies a male child lost through miscarriage. If a person sees his nose bleeding in a dream and thinks that the blood will benefit him, goodness will come to him from his superior. If he thinks that the blood will harm him, a word from his superior will reach him.

If one or two drops of blood flow from the nose in a dream, that blood signifies benefit. If his strength departs after the blood emerges, he will become poor. If strength comes to him after the blood emerges, he will become wealthy. If the blood flowing from his nose stains his garment, evil property and sin will befall him. Blood signifies the life, strength, and property of its owner; the helper who keeps him under his protection; garments and other things that cover him; or what he earns of good and evil.

Whoever sees blood emerge from his rear will emerge from sin. If the blood stains him, unlawful property will depart from him. Human blood signifies the household’s or the master of the house’s small expenditures. At times, this dream also signifies an illness located in the rear.

To see blood in a dream although there is no wound upon your body signifies suffering harm, accepting a bribe, or offering a bribe. To see blood flowing from wounds signifies becoming sorrowful; drinking blood signifies unlawful property and the unjust shedding of blood; seeing blood come from your mouth signifies that you will slander and deceive someone by speaking falsely.

To see blood flow from your veins in a dream signifies that, if you are wealthy, you will become poor, and, if you are poor, you will become wealthy. To see blood come from the male organ signifies that, if you are married, your wife will lose her child; if you are unmarried, you will suffer harm. Seeing blood come from the anus is interpreted as the worsening of your health and your becoming grieved.

To see blood accumulated in a place in a dream signifies that injustices will occur in the place seen; to see a lake of blood or blood flowing from a fountain signifies that blood will be shed in the place seen; to see your nose bleeding signifies that your sorrows will come to an end; if your nose bleeds excessively, it signifies that you will suffer harm.

Ibn Sirin: Seeing blood in a dream signifies unlawful property, sin, or falsehood. Blood upon one’s garment signifies slander; drinking blood signifies consuming unlawful things.

It provides early awareness; the person sees risks before they grow and can choose a more solid path.
