Nabulsi’s Dream Interpretations: If the shawl seen in a dream and covering the body above the waist is new, white, tightly and strongly woven, it indicates the dreamer’s rank and elevation. If the shawl is thin, it indicates the dreamer’s refinement in religion. For a covering is a trust and religion for a person.

If a person sees in a dream that he has wrapped himself in this covering during the winter season, it indicates that, despite being poor, he will adorn himself, excessively admire himself beyond his due, and act arrogantly. Some interpreters said: “The covering is a woman who is not good.”

If a person sees in a dream that he has lost his own shawl, it signifies that he will be freed from poverty and behave arrogantly toward the people.

If a person sees in a dream a new garment, or one whose edges are torn, known among the Arabs as the Burd-i Yemani, this means that he will forget the Noble Qur’an.

If a woman sees this covering in a dream, it indicates that her husband is someone from whom no good comes to her. This covering is entrusted to men, for it is the tie around men’s necks. And the neck is the place of trust.

It provides early awareness; the person sees risks before they grow and can choose a more solid path.

Neglect, haste, untrustworthy people or uncontrolled behavior can increase the difficulty.

In the interpretation, the themes of success and reputation, work and responsibility, health and body, spiritual signs, the emotional tone in the dream, and how the symbol concludes in the dream should be evaluated together.
