Javelin

As is known, javelin is a martial game played on horseback. For this reason, seeing javelin being played in a dream signifies that a great struggle will be experienced in one’s business life.

If a person sees a javelin in his dream, it signifies the presence of a tall and foolish child.

To see oneself throwing a javelin in a dream indicates that one will embark upon an exceedingly difficult undertaking and will struggle greatly in order to succeed. At times, this dream is also interpreted as signifying the dreamer’s loneliness. Playing with this stick or striking the ball signifies associating with low and immoral persons and quarrelling with them.

To see javelin being played, or to see oneself playing javelin in a dream, signifies that there will be a fierce struggle and contention between oneself and one’s rivals in one’s affairs, and that whoever wins the javelin will prevail in this struggle.

Ibn Sīrīn: To see a javelin or spear in a dream signifies strength against the enemy, proof, and distinguishing truth from falsehood.

It can be read as a sign of easing, receiving support, gaining morale, or a fruitful development.

Underestimating opportunities, succumbing to comfort, or being late may reduce the positive effect.

In the interpretation, the themes of work and responsibility, success and reputation, the emotional tone in the dream, and how the symbol concludes in the dream should be evaluated together.
