Cowardice

To act cowardly in a dream is interpreted by its opposite, namely, heroism. Whoever sees himself fleeing in fear from a wild animal in his dream, it is a sign that he will prevail by heroically struggling against a trap laid for him by his rivals.

According to Ibn Sîrîn, fear is safety; fearing Allah’s (Exalted is He) wrath in matters of religion indicates the necessity of repentance and seeking forgiveness.

If a person sees himself fleeing in fear from something he does not know or understand, it is a sign that his religious faith will be strong. Whoever fears in his dream that he will die shall live long.

According to another narration, cowardice in a dream signifies avoiding the unlawful and reprehensible in one’s earnings, or obeying commands and prohibitions in war.

Ibn Sîrîn: Cowardice in a dream indicates preparing horses for racing, or it may mean humility, defending what is right, and opposing falsehood.

It can be read as a sign of easing, receiving support, gaining morale, or a fruitful development.

Underestimating opportunities, succumbing to comfort, or being late may reduce the positive effect.
