Crops

Sayyid Sulayman: To see in the dream-world a known kind of crop, in a familiar place, grown in its season, signifies a child. In this dream, every condition, whether good or evil, is interpreted accordingly.

To see in a dream crops in an unknown place, with their ears grown, their color turned yellow, and out of season, means that you will be confronted by a group that will stand by you and assist you against those who are hostile to you.

To harvest crops in a dream is interpreted as a community being destroyed on account of corruption and sedition. Whoever sees himself sowing a field, reaping its harvest, and then carrying it to the threshing floor shall attain his desire. It signifies that, on account of a good deed he has performed, he shall attain spiritual reward. Whoever walks among reaped crops goes on a ghaza together with the valiant warriors.

Jabir al-Maghribi said: To see oneself reaping the crops in a field in a dream is interpreted as war and enmity. Barley, particularly when reaped in its season, indicates attaining goodness and benefit. It signifies that that year will pass in abundance and prosperity.

To see a fire in the crops, or a similar occurrence, in a dream indicates a scarcity that will arise in that district.

If the crops burned or otherwise destroyed in a dream belong to the dreamer, he will suffer loss on account of a cause originating from the state. Whoever sees himself watering the crops, it signifies that there will be a beneficial condition for him in his religious and worldly life.

To see a river or stream in the midst of the crops in a dream is not a favorable sign. To see the ears of the crops beneath the feet of animals signifies that the dreamer will incur loss. If the person sowing the crops is a stranger, that too indicates incurring loss.

Kirmani said: To see crops is interpreted as women.

It provides early awareness; the person sees risks before they grow and can choose a more solid path.

Neglect, haste, untrustworthy people or uncontrolled behavior can increase the difficulty.

In the interpretation, the themes of work and responsibility, home and environment, emotional life, spiritual signs, the emotional tone in the dream, and how the symbol concluded in the dream should be evaluated together.
