Dampness
To see such dampness in a dream is a sign of glad tidings.
Seeing dampness in a dream indicates that the dreamer will attain good gains as a result of the positive conduct and successes he will display in his working life; by this means, he will reach relief from the difficulties through which he is living; he will communicate with people connected with a matter of work that he has intended for some time to undertake; and doors of employment will be opened to him concerning a task he wishes to perform.
Seeing dew-like dampness in a dream indicates that the dreamer will reach beautiful days in which he will be freed from his anxieties. He will attain the beauties for which he has hoped and dreamed; there will be no such thing as heedlessness brought on by the relaxation he experiences, and he will never cease giving thanks and offering supplication.
Seeing a damp house in a dream is not interpreted as auspicious. It indicates that the affairs of one whose work is going well will deteriorate, and that when he encounters trouble, he will be caught in this evil condition in a grievous manner because he has no alternative plan of rescue.
It indicates that the dreamer will have troubled days both in his working life and in his household, that sorrow will prevail within the family, and that no one will be able to muster the energy necessary to extricate himself and escape this situation.
It indicates that, even amid great difficulties, the efforts the dreamer has expended tooth and nail in order to reach a certain station will bear fruit; on this path, while enjoying the successes that will come, he will also feel within himself the motivation and strength to become better.
Positive Meaning
It can be read as a sign of easing, receiving support, gaining morale, or a fruitful development.
Shadow Meaning
Underestimating opportunities, succumbing to comfort, or being late may reduce the positive effect.
Advice
In the interpretation, the themes of work and responsibility, success and reputation, the emotional tone in the dream, and how the symbol concludes in the dream should be evaluated together.
