Darkness

Seeing darkness in a dream signifies gloom, deviation and oppression, the triumph of love, whispering among people, and concealing certain matters.

Coming out of darkness into light in a dream denotes guidance for the people of disbelief and repentance for the sinner.

Seeing in a dream that you fear the darkness or that you are in a dark place means that you will fail in the undertaking into which you have embarked. Light entering a dark room means that you will overcome many troubles. It means that you will not achieve success in the work you have undertaken. If you see lights entering the dark room, it is a sign that you will overcome your problems. It is interpreted as difficulty, distress, unpleasantness, want, and fear.

Therefore, whoever sees in a dream that he has come out of darkness into light, if he is an unbeliever, becomes a Muslim; and if he is a sinner, he repents. If he is imprisoned, he is freed from imprisonment. Darkness also indicates oppression. For this reason, if a person sees that he has entered a dark place, it indicates that he is an oppressor. Seeing darkness indicates the darkening of one’s eye and heart, and concealing that which one wishes to hide from the people.

If the dreamer sees a dark room in his dream, it indicates that he will fall into troubles both materially and spiritually, and that, unable to find a way out of the matter, he will brood gloomily.

Fearing darkness in a dream indicates that the person has lost confidence in himself and, for this reason, will be unable to achieve success in the undertakings into which he enters.

It provides early awareness; the person sees risks before they grow and can choose a more solid path.
