Dinar
Imam Jaʿfar al-Sadiq: To see five dinars (gold coins) in a dream signifies the five daily prayers. To see a dinar with an even number signifies sound faith and beneficial knowledge. To see a dinar with an odd number signifies the opposite of this interpretation.
To dream that you give dinars to someone, that your dinars have disappeared, or that they have been stolen signifies deliverance from grief and anxiety; to see that you receive four dinars from someone signifies attaining rank and advancement through women.
Daniel (peace be upon him): To see more than four dinars in a dream signifies that you will be occupied with a troublesome affair and hear a word that you will be unable to bear. If there are many dinars, yet you know how many they are, it signifies that the things mentioned above will be lesser.
Ibn Sirin: To see that you possess five dinars in a dream signifies doing good and beautiful things; to see that you possess neither a large nor a small dinar signifies that, through the known person who gave you the dinar, you will come to possess a new but small house.
To see that you possess one hundred or one thousand dinars signifies learning knowledge; to give a dinar to someone or to see that your dinar has been lost signifies that you will learn as much knowledge as the number of dinars you have lost.
Kirmani: The dinar seen in a dream may sometimes appear exactly as it is. For example, a person who sees in his dream that he has found a dinar will likewise find a dinar in waking life.
To see that you possess dinars or that someone gives you dinars signifies that you will have a child; to see that your dinar has been lost signifies that you will suffer distress on account of your children.
To see that you possess a plentiful amount of dinars signifies that you will be afflicted by a calamity; to see five dinars in your palm signifies that you will perform all five prayers without missing any of them.
To see that two of the five dinars in your hand have been lost signifies that you will perform some of your prayers and fail to perform others; to find many dinars and see that you place them in a secure place signifies that you are a trustworthy person, and above all, that you will show great care concerning your prayers.
To see that you mint (manufacture) dinars in a dream signifies guiding people to the right path and not betraying a trust; to see that you have found a single dinar signifies that they will give you an important document and ask you to keep it concealed from others.
Ismail al-Ashʿath: To see a beautiful-looking dinar without an image in a dream signifies religion and the right path. To see a purse of dinars signifies becoming very wealthy; to see a dinar bearing the image of an idol on one side and the name of Allah written on the other signifies that, if you are a Muslim, you will adopt another religion, and if you are an unbeliever, you will become a Muslim.
According to another narration: For a person to see a dinar in a dream signifies knowledge, pious and auspicious children, and profit. To see oneself distributing gold signifies settling an existing debt; losing gold signifies the death of one of the members of the household; carrying gold signifies that you will gain profit.
