Dirt
Seeing dirt in a dream is, for the most part, a symbol that opens the way to a constructive development. The principal emphasis gathers around one’s state of mind, intuition and mental clarity, relationships, attachments, and immediate surroundings; therefore, the dream should be interpreted according to the feeling a person forms toward that symbol, rather than according to the outward appearance of the event.
Ibn Sīrīn: Seeing dirt or earth in a dream signifies wealth. Seeing oneself dirty signifies sin; seeing oneself clean the earth signifies repentance.
Ibn Sīrīn: Seeing one’s body dirty in a dream signifies committing sin and heedlessness. Seeing oneself wash and cleanse one’s body signifies repentance and purification.
Positive Meaning
It can be read as a sign of easing, receiving support, gaining morale, or a fruitful development.
Shadow Meaning
Underestimating opportunities, succumbing to comfort, or being late may reduce the positive effect.
Advice
In the interpretation, the themes of inner world and awareness, emotional life, the emotional tone in the dream, and how the symbol concludes in the dream should be evaluated together.
