To Divorce

If a person sees in his dream that he has divorced his wife, it indicates that he will be subjected to great unrest in the days he is presently living through.

According to some interpreters, seeing in your dream that you have divorced your spouse is interpreted as meaning that you will leave the place in which you reside and migrate elsewhere, that your affairs will deteriorate, and that you will consequently suffer distress. Again, certain interpreters have said that if the spouse from whom you have divorced is ill, it indicates that there will be new developments concerning his or her illness.

Seeing divorce/talaq in a dream indicates an undertaking that will be regretted, or experiencing material improvement.

Sayyid Süleyman and Abu Sa'id al-Wa'iz say: Whoever sees that he has divorced his wife will become wealthy. According to one narration, the dreamer will leave his office or position. Whoever sees that he has divorced his wife irrevocably will abandon his work. He will not return to that work again.

Whoever sees that he is jealous after divorcing his wife desires that she return to him. According to some interpreters, jealousy signifies ambition.

Ibn Sirin said: Whoever divorces his sole wife in his dream loses his honour and esteem. If the dreamer has another wife or slave-girls, his wealth will diminish. For a person who, despite being unmarried, sees that he has divorced his wife, it means that his appointed time is near.

For seeing oneself return to the spouse from whom one has divorced in a dream, you may consult another interpretation.

Kirmani interprets the dream of divorce as follows: It signifies wealth, separation from a partner, dismissal from office, the deterioration of affairs, loss of property, and the occurrence of something undesired. Whoever sees that he has divorced his wife will harshly rebuke his closest friend or accuse him of a crime.

To see that one has divorced his wife with one pronouncement of talaq: if the seer himself or his wife is ill, they will be freed from the illness. Whoever says to his wife three times, “You are divorced,” will fall ill. The divorce of his wife by a deeply devout person indicates that he will completely disengage himself from the affairs of this world and devote himself to worship for the sake of the Hereafter.

It provides early awareness; the person sees risks before they grow and can choose a more solid path.

Neglect, haste, untrustworthy people or uncontrolled behavior can increase the difficulty.
