Exhibition

To see an exhibition in a dream signifies presenting to people for their appreciation works that are the product of knowledge and skill, possessing courage, and attaining fame.

For things spread on the ground

To see an exhibition in a dream means that you will succeed in your affairs and will purchase property with the money you earn. It indicates changes in a person’s life. It is also interpreted according to the things displayed.

To see in a dream that you are touring an exhibition is a sign that you will make a short journey for a business trip and that, at the end of it, a small amount of money will come into your hands.

According to another narration: An exhibition and possessing it signify comfort, honour, and elevation. The mattress and things belonging to it, such as its pillow and sheet, are the household implements and equipment of the master of the house. Whoever sees that he is sitting upon a mattress or something resembling a mattress will purchase a tract of land. If the dreamer is in battle, he will attain safety. The mattress is the world and property of its owner—that is, of the person for whom it is spread. If someone sees that his mattress has fallen from him, the world will turn away from that person. If the mattress seen is new, spacious, finely made, and sturdy, it signifies for the dreamer a long life, worldly abundance, a new state, the continuance of blessings, and attaining strength in his command and authority.

If the exhibition, or rug, seen in a dream is thin and torn, it signifies the world together with a short lifespan. If someone sees his rug rolled up upon his shoulder, that person will migrate from his present place to an unknown place. If he sees that the mattress has been opened and spread out for him, his sustenance will become abundant, and he will be delivered from poverty and hardship in earning a livelihood. The mattress signifies gathering and conversing with judges and leaders, and with everyone who sets foot upon it.

If a person sees in his dream that his rug is being rolled up, it signifies the invalidity of his authority or that the world has turned its face away from him. If someone’s mattress catches fire in a dream, that person will die. If the surface of his mattress becomes thin, his appointed time will draw near and weakness will afflict his body. A mattress cut into pieces signifies sorrow and grief. The mattress signifies a man who praises and purifies his own soul, and in whom falsehood and lies abound.

To see an exhibition in a dream signifies clothing. The interpretation of an exhibition seen in winter is better than that of an exhibition seen in summer. It has also been said that seeing an exhibition signifies neighbours. If someone sees in a dream that he has taken the exhibition upon his back or that he has wrapped himself in it, it signifies that he will become poor and present his need to others. To see an exhibition signifies, for a tradesman, a jurist, and an imam, a craft that will make them secure from poverty and necessity and protect them from hardships and fears. Whoever sees dirt upon his exhibition will have a poor livelihood and his reputation will diminish.

Ibn Sirin: To see an exhibition in a dream signifies the bringing forth of deeds or the display of merchandise.

It provides early awareness; the person sees risks before they grow and can choose a more solid path.

Neglect, haste, untrustworthy people or uncontrolled behavior can increase the difficulty.

In the interpretation, the themes of work and responsibility, success and reputation, the emotional tone in the dream, and how the symbol concludes in the dream should be evaluated together.
