Isqat
To see in a dream that alms are distributed by the family on behalf of the deceased for the acts of worship he was unable to perform is a sign of dying without leaving a written testament, of material and spiritual debts whose payment was neglected, and of hoping from Allah (may He be glorified and exalted) without worshipping Him.
To see the ıskat al-salāt and ıskat al-sawm (the transference of prayer and fasting) being performed in a dream, or to ask for these to be performed, signifies neglecting the obligatory duties of the appointed times and consuming one’s life in heedlessness, thinking, “I shall do it tomorrow; I shall do it one day.” To see a hatm of devir and ıskat being performed for a deceased person signifies that the one who died departed in debt and hoped for good from those he left behind. (It is a debt of loyalty and humanity for whoever sees such a dream to perform prayer for the deceased, recite istighfar on his behalf, and send him the reward of the prayers he has performed.)
To see an ıskat practitioner in a dream and to distribute ıskat among them is not interpreted as good. Isqat signifies that there are estrangements within the family and the necessity of treating the members of the family more positively; whereas to see oneself receiving ıskat money signifies that one will make peace with estranged persons.
Positive Meaning
It provides early awareness; the person sees risks before they grow and can choose a more solid path.
Shadow Meaning
Neglect, haste, untrustworthy people or uncontrolled behavior can increase the difficulty.
Advice
In the interpretation, the themes of work and responsibility, spiritual signs, home and environment, success and reputation, the emotional tone in the dream, and how the symbol concludes in the dream should be evaluated together.
