Eyelid

In a dream, seeing the eyelid is a good dream for all people, and especially for women, who are free from pain and illnesses. If the eyelids seen have little flesh, or if there is a wound or boil upon them, it indicates sorrow and grief.

Seeing one’s eyelids in a dream indicates that by which a person protects himself, such as a weapon, and also his teacher, who restrains him from evil and disciplines him. At times, the eyelids indicate brothers and sisters, husband and wife, children, the two rings of a door, a chest and treasure, a curtain-maker and guard, servants, those who conceal secrets, the keepers of trusts, and becoming aware of something that brings about illness and anger.

Tears are like dots. The eyelashes upon the eyelids indicate the warding off of harmful conditions that may befall them. Weakness and dimness seen in the eyelids indicate a deficiency in respect and a lack of knowledge.

For the sick, seeing eyelids in a dream indicates love and stillness and bewilderment under the intense influence of love, and the inability to regulate one’s words and circumstances. When the eye signifies wealth, the eyelids signify the zakat and preservation of that wealth.

Ibn Sirin: Seeing an eyelid in a dream denotes a person who preserves propriety and privacy, or one who keeps secrets.

It provides early awareness; the person sees risks before they grow and can choose a more solid path.

Neglect, haste, untrustworthy people or uncontrolled behavior can increase the difficulty.
