To see oneself shooting in a dream indicates that the person will undertake an affair that will not be the means of good, or that he will become involved in unpropitious matters. Shooting is an unfavorable dream. The place at which the shooting takes place, whether someone is struck while shooting, whether blood comes forth, and who it is that shoots during the dream all carry different indications in interpreting the dream. Therefore, every detail during the dream is exceedingly important.

If the person shooting in the dream is one who possesses religion and faith and lives in accordance with them, it is possible to say that he will depart from the path of Allah. The person may question his religion and, while fulfilling his religious beliefs, may desist from doing what those beliefs require.

The interpretation of shooting in a dream is known as a very evil and unpropitious dream. Turning the dream toward good is connected with the person who has seen such a dream questioning his own beliefs and putting his personality and character in order.

To see oneself shooting with a rifle in a dream: This concerns the dreamer closely. Here, it is of no importance who fired the shot. It indicates that the dreamer’s relations with his relatives will deteriorate and that a great family quarrel will take place. This dream gives tidings that differences of opinion will arise and that, owing to these oppositions of views, troubles such as quarrelling, estrangement, and not seeing one another for a long period will emerge.

The symbol of the rifle in a dream represents disagreement and enmity, and that this enmity remains within the family of relatives.

To see oneself shooting with a weapon in a dream indicates a quarrel within the family, a quarrel between siblings, or a quarrel with one’s closest friend. Here lies the difference between the rifle and the weapon. The smaller the object with which the shooting is carried out in size, the more it signifies that the dispute and quarrel are to be assessed according to the degree of kinship. For example, shooting with a rifle represents the dreamer’s relatives in proportion to the length of the rifle. The longer the rifle, the more distant the relative it signifies.

To see oneself shooting with a pistol in a dream calls to mind gossip, sowing discord, and, regrettably, sedition, corruption, disputes, and quarrels. Situations such as a divergence of subject or a disagreement of opinion may be in question through this dream.

To see a soldier shooting in a dream shows that, owing to the conditions of his duty, the dreamer has been caught between two people, albeit unwillingly.

To see someone shooting in a dream is not a propitious dream for the dreamer. One who has seen such a dream must guard himself against gossip. Moreover, since it is another person who shoots, if that person is known and his face is clearly seen, it shows that particular heed must be paid especially to that person. It will be this person who lights the fuse of the gossip.

What does it mean to see someone shooting in a dream: If you see someone shooting in a dream but do not know this person, you will need to turn your attention toward those outside your relatives and family and protect yourself in your social circle, work environment, and suchlike places from certain people toward whom you feel jealousy.

To see another person shooting in a dream unfortunately draws the dreamer himself into the matter as well. Who it is that shoots in the dream is important only with regard to the outcome of the situations experienced. For example, while seeing the dreamer himself shooting in a dream indicates quarrelling, verbal altercation, and estrangement, seeing another person shooting in a dream is rather a dream centered upon gossip.

It indicates the existence of people who, whether in working life or among relatives, harbor envy toward the dreamer and engage in various adverse acts and speak behind his back. This dream shows that the dreamer must withdraw himself from among the people in his close circle who know him and must behave cautiously toward them. The dreamer may be subjected to gossip, and when this reaches his ears, he may become distressed.

It provides early awareness; the person sees risks before they grow and can choose a more solid path.

Neglect, haste, untrustworthy people or uncontrolled behavior can increase the difficulty.
