Fog (Air)

Seeing fog in a dream is not interpreted as auspicious. Whoever sees in his dream that fog has descended upon him will follow a false path. Whoever sees himself within fog will enter into grief and distress. To see fog around oneself gradually diminishing is a sign that one’s grief and distress will pass. To see a place covered by fog and then see it disperse indicates that one will later comprehend a matter that one was unable to understand at first. To see a place or a country enveloped in fog indicates that its people will fall into grief and distress.

To see the sun rise and disperse the fog in a dream is evidence that, through the agency of the government, that distress and grief will pass. According to another narration: The fog seen in a dream is a sign of confusion in the dreamer’s religious and worldly affairs. Whoever sees smoke descending upon him in a dream should fear Allah Most High and desist from the evil things he has done.

The fog seen in a dream is a sign of tribulation and confusion encompassing all people, and of quarrels that will arise among them.

It provides early awareness; the person sees risks before they grow and can choose a more solid path.

Neglect, haste, untrustworthy people or uncontrolled behavior can increase the difficulty.

In the interpretation, the themes of work and responsibility, inner world and awareness, the emotional tone in the dream, and how the symbol concludes in the dream should be evaluated together.
