Forehead and Face

If a person sees his forehead and face shining in a dream, this indicates that his intelligence will become keen and his desire to fulfill his religious duties will increase.

Seeing beauty upon the forehead in a dream indicates strength in religion; its opposite is interpreted with the opposite meaning. According to some interpreters, the forehead and face are interpreted as prostration.

According to Ibn Sirin’s interpretation: The forehead is as noble as the face, for it is the place of prostration, and in prostration the forehead is the first part to be placed upon the ground. Seeing the forehead in a dream sometimes also indicates a child.

If a person sees the mark of prostration upon his forehead in a dream, this indicates that he is upon the path of religion, as well as his fame and worth among the people. If a person sees a wound and boil upon his forehead in a dream, it does not signify good.

According to Kirmani’s interpretation: If a person sees the breadth of his forehead in a dream, it is interpreted as an indication that his sustenance will be abundant and his fortune auspicious. If a person sees the color of his forehead as pale in a dream, it is interpreted to mean that the dreamer will incur a debt. When the paleness passes, he will repay his debt.

To see a colored line upon one’s face in a dream indicates that the person who sees it will have a child from whom he will receive goodness and benefit.

According to Jaʿfar al-Sadiq’s interpretation: If a person sees in a dream that his forehead has grown wider and longer, this indicates that he will attain a high rank in his work; and if he sees that his forehead has become smaller and narrower, it is interpreted in the opposite manner to the interpretation given above. If a person sees in a dream a light shining from his forehead and spreading around, this indicates that he will enlighten society through his knowledge. But whoever sees a darkness emerging from his forehead and spreading around, this indicates that he will lead society onto an evil path.

It can be read as a sign of easing, receiving support, gaining morale, or a fruitful development.

Underestimating opportunities, succumbing to comfort, or being late may reduce the positive effect.
