Backbiting (Gossip)

If a person sees in his dream that he is backbiting another person, this signifies that he will have to endure the senseless behavior of certain people and, because of this, will fall into distress.

That people backbite others and spread various rumors while awake is likewise not good from the Islamic perspective; it is unlawful.

Concerning this, Allah the Exalted has said: “O you who believe! Avoid much suspicion; indeed, some suspicion is sin. And do not spy, nor let some of you backbite others” (Sūrat al-Ḥujurāt, verse 12).

It provides early awareness; the person sees risks before they grow and can choose a more solid path.

Neglect, haste, untrustworthy people or uncontrolled behavior can increase the difficulty.
