The Earth Splitting / Collapsing

Kirmani said: To see in a dream the earth splitting open and collapsing signifies that that region will be subjected to the oppression of a tyrant, exposed to the danger of drought, an invasion of locusts, or fear of the enemy. In other words, the dream is an omen of a great calamity.

Whoever sees in a dream that the earth splits open and collapses, and that he falls into it, if he is among the sinners, will either embark upon a journey from which he cannot return or encounter an affliction. If the dreamer is charitable and pious, he will marry a woman.

To see in a dream the earth splitting open, swallowing the animals, and then joining together again signifies the end of many great tribes on account of an earthquake that will occur in that place.

As for seeing the earth collapse and swallow trees and vineyards, this expresses that those living in that region will die on account of a disease such as plague or cholera.

It provides early awareness; the person sees risks before they grow and can choose a more solid path.

Neglect, haste, untrustworthy people or uncontrolled behavior can increase the difficulty.

In the interpretation, the themes of home and environment, success and reputation, the emotional tone in the dream, and how the symbol concludes in the dream should be evaluated together.
