Haste

To hasten in a dream signifies making a mistake and feeling regret. Hastening in works of righteousness signifies goodness; hastening in works of evil signifies disappointment or returning anew to a sin of which one had repented.

To walk hastily in a dream signifies vigor; to neglect a task by hurrying signifies laziness; and a sick person’s hastening signifies his death. To see oneself hastening in worldly matters and to feel distressed by this signifies carrying out one’s affairs with deliberation.

To see in a dream that the outcome of the task in which you hastened was not good is interpreted as indicating that you are anxious because you made a decision in some matter without thinking it through sufficiently.

Ibn Sirin: To see oneself hastening in a dream signifies regret and the prompting of Satan.

Ibn Sirin: To walk with swift steps in Mecca or in any city signifies victory over the enemy. Walking swiftly also signifies haste and a rapid departure from this world. Moving swiftly may indicate losing one’s rank or attending the pilgrimage season in Mecca.

With the right perspective, it can signify restoring balance, recovery, and developing a new understanding.

Uncertainty, indecision, or a tendency to take on excessive burden may be observed.

In the interpretation, the themes of work and responsibility, success and reputation, the emotional tone in the dream, and how the symbol concludes in the dream should be evaluated together.
