Sick Person / Illness

For a sick person to see in a dream that he is ill signifies his recovery of health; for a healthy person to be ill signifies health; feverish illnesses point to distressing circumstances that will come from the authorities.

For a person in distress to become ill in a dream signifies his deliverance from that distress; illness signifies hypocrisy, weakness of faith, and apprehension; epidemic disease signifies famine, hardship in livelihood, and high prices.

To see in a dream that fluid has accumulated in a part of one’s body signifies insult and baseness; illness sometimes signifies religious weakness together with health, failing to render thanks for being healthy, and neglecting acts of worship.

It provides early awareness; the person sees risks before they grow and can choose a more solid path.

Neglect, haste, untrustworthy people or uncontrolled behavior can increase the difficulty.

In the interpretation, the themes of health and body, success and reputation, the emotional tone in the dream, and how the symbol concludes in the dream should be evaluated together.
