Intercession

To see oneself interceding in a dream is an indication that the fulfillment of your wishes, on account of your sins, is possible only through your repenting and seeking forgiveness.

According to another narration: To mediate in a dream is an indication of honor and distinction. Some interpreters said that it signifies deception; while others said that it signifies attaining goodness and wealth in return for one’s own labor.

If a person sees in a dream the Day of Resurrection, and the people coming before the prophets and asking them for intercession, while the prophets do not intercede, the interpretation of this dream is an indication of stagnation in affairs and of striving to fulfill the needs of one’s own people.

In a dream, the intercession of a neighbor on the Day of Resurrection is deemed valid. Therefore, if a person sees in his dream that his neighbor intercedes on his behalf on the Day of Resurrection, it is an indication that the dreamer will receive benefit and advantage from his neighbor, that he will attain ease through one of his friends, or that a person whom he knows and recognizes will render him a service in a time of caution and adversity.

To see in a dream that one’s child intercedes for him is an indication that the person who sees it will benefit through the child, or that some advantage will come to him from the child.

The interpretation of interceding on behalf of another person in a dream is likewise. If one sees that the Glorious Qur’an intercedes for him, he will benefit from knowledge and attain a lofty rank.

Ibn Sirin: To ask for intercession or to see an intercessor in a dream is an indication that needs will be fulfilled, sins will be forgiven, and assistance will be received from those in high stations. If one sees a scholar interceding on his behalf, it denotes a deed accepted by Allah, forgiveness, and deliverance. Intercession is also interpreted as mediating in a righteous matter or reconciling a group of people.

It can be read as a sign of easing, receiving support, gaining morale, or a fruitful development.

Underestimating opportunities, succumbing to comfort, or being late may reduce the positive effect.

In the interpretation, the themes of success and reputation, work and responsibility, health and body, spiritual signs, the emotional tone in the dream, and how the symbol concludes in the dream should be evaluated together.
