Killing a Bear

It is interpreted that whoever sees in his dream that he has killed a bear will, upon reaching a certain point in the struggle of life, find some relief in the life for which he has long striven and, in time, attain complete freedom and happy days.

It is understood that he will attract the attention of enemies already around him or whom he will acquire for various reasons, escape their enmity through clever moves, and reach more comfortable days by making peace.

Whoever sees in his dream that he is hunting a brown bear is known among those around him as a well-intentioned person, and it is interpreted that, because of his good intentions, he will suffer injustice, and that he will endure difficult times after being wronged by people from whom he did not expect it. It is related that he will investigate the injustice to which he has been subjected, make many attempts with the aim of proving himself in the right, and ultimately uncover the matter himself.

Whoever sees in his dream that he is hunting a polar bear shall be a sign that he will be slandered for various reasons, be treated unjustly, and pass through difficult times. After suffering injustice or slander, the person will spend unhappy days; while passing through this unhappy period, he will use his intelligence to clear himself of the slander cast upon him and will thus be able to defend himself. It is related that he may regain the esteem he possessed before being slandered, and that happy days await him as a recompense for the difficult times he has endured.

Whoever sees in his dream that he is hunting a bear cub is known as a person who has become renowned among those around him and has a very wide circle and many acquaintances. It is interpreted that most of the people who have established a place around him are persons of corrupt character, that he will be harmed by ill-intentioned people, and that he will emerge from the whirlpool into which he has entered without suffering harm, solving the schemes of wicked people through his cunning.

Whoever sees in his dream that he is hunting a bear that is about to attack shall be interpreted as suffering harm, yet escaping at the last moment from attacks or slanders and attaining relief at the final moment. It is interpreted that people whose lives are in order may, without cause, be exposed to slander or a physical attack, and that after being attacked or even before the attack, they will extricate themselves from the affair and overcome the opposing party.

Whoever sees in his dream that he is riding a lame bear shall be interpreted as unexpectedly rising in status within the place where he works or in his own workplace. It is related that the dreamer will assume great responsibilities for a department not under his supervision, rise very rapidly by meeting persons competent in his field, reach very good positions within a short time, and spend peaceful days filled with abundant blessings.

Whoever sees in his dream that he is riding a bear in the street shall be interpreted as meaning that changes will gradually take place in the stable course of his life, that he will grow stronger and advance with assured steps, and that he will attain rank by reaching positions in which his word carries weight in communal settings such as school or the workplace.

There are also narrations that, as the dreamer rises in rank, he will grow weaker from an Islamic perspective, enter into unlawful actions without fearing the committing of sin, and ought to be heedful concerning this matter.

It provides early awareness; the person sees risks before they grow and can choose a more solid path.

Neglect, haste, untrustworthy people or uncontrolled behavior can increase the difficulty.
