According to another narration: To see a male person in a dream signifies virtue, spaciousness, power, and piety. If the male person seen in a dream is known, he is interpreted as that person himself, or someone bearing his name, or his companion, or one of the people resembling him.

If someone sees a known man in a dream, he hopes for something from that man, or from his like, or from someone who bears his name. If he takes from that man a jewel that is sought, it signifies that he will also obtain the thing he hoped for. If he takes a shirt, and he himself is among the government officials, he receives a promise from that man of an official appointment. If he takes a rope, that rope likewise signifies receiving a promise. If he takes something disliked, such as a child and the like, then the thing he hoped for from that man turns into enmity.
