Allamah Majlisi: To see an old man in a dream signifies that your affairs will prosper and that you will attain ease and abundance. To see a pious old man indicates that you will become wealthy. To see a young man signifies that you will be subjected to deceit or oppression.

To see in a dream an old man coming to your house and greeting you, or standing before you without saying anything, signifies that, by the grace of Allah, you will become wealthy, your career will rise, and you will rejoice.

Contemporary Ulama: To see a man or human being signifies that you attach more importance to yourself than is proper, and that this may lead to conceit. Therefore, you should integrate yourself into society and gain new friends.

To see in a dream a person suited to your nature or to engage in dialogue with him signifies that you will encounter a favorable event; to see an ugly person signifies that you will encounter an event you very much do not wish to occur and which will cause you distress.

To see a happy person in a dream signifies sorrow and distress; to see a sorrowful person signifies that you will be influenced by the thoughts of others.

It provides early awareness; the person sees risks before they grow and can choose a more solid path.

Neglect, haste, untrustworthy people or uncontrolled behavior can increase the difficulty.

In the interpretation, the themes of work and responsibility, success and reputation, the emotional tone in the dream, and how the symbol concludes in the dream should be evaluated together.
